Moncton Coupon Lady: Media

The Moncton Coupon Lady came about by accident, and has become a new identity for the woman who created the site, Ruth Ann Swansburg. She started a Facebook page in August of 2011 in order to help share, with her friends, her photos and info on how to get great deals. She invited 21 friends to the FB page, and today is nearing 10,000 fans on the FB page alone. In addition to the page, there is a website at www.monctoncouponlady.com, a trades group, an email newsletter, CBC Radio bi-weekly column, regular weekly swaps and seminars across the Maritimes.

Ruth Ann has been offering seminars in various locations around the Maritimes since October 2011.

In addition to the standard 2 hour Seminar, she has also been teaching Lunch & Learn sessions at local businesses, such as Medavie Blue Cross, Ambulance NB, Youth QUEST Central, Université de Moncton, Assumption Life, WorkSafeNB, Moncton Hospital, Town of Riverview and more. The Moncton Coupon Lady has also been featured on radio, TV and in various publications around New Brunswick and Canada. Since September 2012, the Moncton Coupon Lady has had a regular bi-weekly column on CBC Information Morning Moncton 106.1 fm.
